In Denver, Colorado, authorities are on the hunt for a woman responsible for a shooting that left five people injured outside a local bar. The identified shooter has been named as Keanna Rosenburgh.
Eyewitnesses recount a heated altercation between the assailant and a bouncer at the bar's entrance.
Frustrated by the denied entry, Rosenburgh brandished her firearm with the intention to harm the bouncer. Tragically, her shots struck five bystanders instead. Thankfully, all victims received medical attention and are now in stable condition.
The assailant swiftly fled the scene.
Armando Saldate, executive director of Denver Public Safety, stated, "There seemed to be some sort of confrontation or a fight over that verbal altercation, at which she produced a handgun that was concealed on her person and started shooting."
Authorities clarify that the security personnel were likely the intended target, with the victims caught in the crossfire. Fortunately, no fatalities occurred.
Denver police urge any witnesses to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 (STOP) with information regarding Rosenburgh's whereabouts.
A bar security personnel member, Andrew Reader, described the harrowing moment when six gunshots echoed through the air. He swiftly ushered patrons to safety, securing the premises until law enforcement cleared the area.
Madison Sharnowski, a witness waiting in line to enter Whiskey Row, recounted the chaotic scene. She and others reacted instinctively to the gunfire, seeking cover. Sharnowski expressed gratitude that she and her friends escaped physical harm, though two individuals in close proximity were wounded. She emphasized the traumatic impact on the victims, many of whom suffered leg injuries.
Sharnowski demonstrated remarkable compassion by staying with one of the injured victims, aiding in contacting her family, and providing comfort until the arrival of medical assistance.
Reflecting on the experience, she acknowledged the unpredictable nature of such incidents.
Denver police released a photograph of Keanna Rosenburgh, seeking the public's assistance in locating her. A reward of $2,000 is offered for information leading to her apprehension. The community remains on high alert, hoping for a swift resolution to this distressing event.
