Four British Women to Sue Influencer Andrew Tate Over Shocking Allegations

Four British women are gearing up to take legal action against Andrew Tate, a social media influencer, over allegations of physical violence, including choking that resulted in burst blood vessels in their eyes.

Tate is currently awaiting trial in Romania on charges related to human trafficking and forming a criminal gang to exploit women, which he denies.

According to The Sunday Times, the women plan to file claims in the High Court in London, accusing Tate of rape, coercive control, and choking incidents that occurred between 2013 and 2016, before he gained notoriety as an influencer.

Tate, who vehemently denies all allegations, is reportedly considering a defamation lawsuit against them.

One of the reported assaults involved Tate allegedly choking the women until blood vessels burst in their eyes, using a belt to beat them, and committing multiple rapes while exerting coercive control. One of the women claimed to have received a text message from Tate saying, “I love raping you.”

While three of the women had previously gone to the police during the alleged crimes, the Crown Prosecution Service did not press charges after a four-year investigation. They now see pursuing a civil case as their only recourse and plan to sue Tate for personal injury and physical harm.

These women have watched Tate amass millions of followers and witnessed the spread of his videos across the internet. They expressed frustration at seeing him gain fame and influence while still under investigation.

Their solicitor, Matthew Jury, believes they can sue Tate personally, even though he resides in Romania, citing the enforceability of UK judgments abroad.

A spokesman for Tate noted that the allegations originated from a letter suggesting mediation through financial compensation and emphasized that this letter does not constitute a formal legal case. Tate, in response, denied the allegations and mentioned his contemplation of defamation proceedings against the complainants.

Earlier this year, three British webcam models who worked for Tate made allegations of rape and abuse against him. They had reported the incidents to UK police eight years ago but alleged that detectives failed to properly investigate before dropping the case.
