Allegations Surface: Buc-ee's Co-Founder's Son, Mitchell Wasek, Accused of Secretly Filming Guests In Bathroom

Mitchell Wasek, the son of Buc-ee's co-founder Don Wasek, has been accused of secretly recording guests at his family's Texas lake house while they used the bathroom, as per county records and local reports.

The allegations against Mitchell Wasek include a total of 28 counts related to invasive visual recording in Travis County, according to online records and The Austin-American Statesman.

Guests at the Wasek family's Lake Travis residence discovered a concealed camera charging port in a bathroom wall, leading them to report the incident to authorities in May, as indicated by an affidavit obtained by the newspaper.

Witnesses took possession of the camera from the lake house and reviewed its contents, which reportedly included recordings of guests in various stages of undress.

The camera also contained recordings of individuals in bathrooms at the lake house, as well as at two other locations—a residence in Austin and a property in Telluride, Colorado, owned by the Wasek family, as reported by the Statesman, citing property records and the police affidavit.

As of now, Mitchell Wasek's attorney has not responded to inquiries from Fox News Digital.

The recordings purportedly depict individuals using the toilet, taking showers, changing clothes, and engaging in intimate activities.

Wasek was released on a $280,000 bond, according to the Statesman, and is scheduled to appear in court on October 24.
