Morgan Summerlin, a 25-year-old mother from Georgia, became the focus of a shocking crime story in 2017.

According to a Fulton County police report, she did the unthinkable to her children.

She sold her own young daughters to men for sexual pleasure.

The disturbing case of Morgan Summerlin came to light in April 2017.

While Summerlin was serving time in Florida on unrelated charges, her two young daughters, aged 5 and 6, were placed under the care of temporary legal guardians.

As the children settled into their temporary home, they started sharing their troubling experiences with their guardians.

With heartbreaking detail, they recounted how their mother pimped them out to men for cash.

They revealed that their main abuser was a man they knew only as "Pop," later identified as 78-year-old Richard Office.

According to arrest records, Office sexually molested the children, and even raped the younger child.

After the sexual assault, he would give them $100, which Summerlin would immediately take from them.

As Fulton County police dug deeper, they identified another perpetrator, Alfredo Trejo, who had sexually abused the children multiple times.

The children's testimony revealed a pattern of ongoing abuse that went beyond a single incident.

They spoke of multiple visits to men's homes, where they were repeatedly sexually exploited.

The predators would pay to abuse the children, with their mother acting as a facilitator of these chilling crimes.

Morgan Summerlin not only failed to protect her daughters but actively participated in their sexual exploitation.

The Fulton County criminal defense attorney offered a possible explanation for why Morgan Summerlin committed her actions.

They noted that Summerlin herself had been a victim of sexual exploitation as a child.

The children's grandmother, Teresa Davidson, was also implicated for failing to protect the children when they sought help.

Morgan Summerlin ultimately agreed to a plea deal, avoiding a potential 140-year prison sentence.

She pleaded guilty to several charges, including first-degree cruelty to children, trafficking a person for sexual servitude, and enticing a child for indecent purposes.

Summerlin ultimately received a 20-year prison sentence, with an additional 10 years of probation.

As she was escorted out of the courtroom, she blew kisses to her family.

It was a strange moment that really showed how disconnected she was from her role as a mother.

The other perpetrators faced equally severe consequences.

Richard Office, the 78-year-old man the children called "Pop", received the most stringent sentence.

He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, plus an additional 146 years to run concurrently.

His conviction included multiple charges of rape, child molestation, trafficking, and sexual battery.

Alfredo Trejo was also convicted of similar charges including rape, child molestation, and aggravated child molestation

He was sentenced to 25 years in prison followed by life on probation.

Even the children's grandmother, Teresa Davidson, faced legal accountability.

After pleading guilty to second-degree cruelty to children for failing to protect the girls, she received a five-year sentence.

However, one year was commuted to time already served, with the remainder to be served on probation.

Fulton County lawyers involved in the case emphasized the importance of holding every individual accountable.

"The impact that this ongoing sexual abuse had on those children is tragic, and we are grateful that the jury held the defendant accountable for his depraved conduct, " said Chief Senior Assistant District Attorney Irina Khasin.
