An early morning armed robbery at the Spin to Win Game Room in San Antonio has led to the arrest of four men, including one of the business’s own security guards.
San Antonio police say the robbery happened around 6:40 a.m. on Friday, February 21, 2026, at the game room located at 5205 Fredericksburg Road near Callaghan Road. .
According to surveillance video from the storer, two masked men walked into the Spin to Win Game Room while customers and employees were inside. At the time, there were four customers and two employees working — a cashier and a security guard.
Police say the armed robbery quickly turned violent as the suspects allegedly attacked the security guard and took his firearm. They then moved toward the back of the business, pointing guns at customers and demanding money.
During the chaos, one person ran into a rear restroom and refused to come out. Investigators say one of the suspects fired a shot toward the bathroom door but thankfully no one was injured.
“They came in and they held the employees at gunpoint,” said the owner Sahelm Zghoul. “It was scary. They did fire a gunshot inside,” he added.
The suspects eventually took about $15,000 in cash, but while the gunmen were focused on grabbing the money, employees and customers managed to run out of the building.
About 45 minutes later, an East Patrol officer stopped three men driving a black Dodge Charger, as per Ken5News.
Police said the men were wearing clothing that matched what was seen in the surveillance video, and inside the vehicle, officers reportedly found guns, backpacks, and the stolen cash register.
As investigators questioned the suspects, two of them allegedly told police that the robbery was not random, and they claimed the game room’s own security guard, 32-year-old Riondo Lozell Murphy, helped plan it.
According to an arrest affidavit, the suspects told investigators that Murphy had been in contact with them by phone before the robbery, and they said he advised them on the best time to target the business.
One suspect reportedly handed over call logs that linked Murphy to the planning, and when they were shown a photo of Murphy, the suspects identified him as the security guard who worked at Spin to Win.
“One of our security guards was involved in the robbery,” Zghoul said. “He was, I guess, the main guy to set it up, so it disappointed me honestly in trusting somebody like that.”

Murphy and the three other suspects are now facing multiple charges connected to the armed robbery.
Additionally, the police confirmed that no injuries were reported during the armed robbery, despite a gun being fired inside the business.
The owner says he chose to speak publicly to reassure customers that Spin to Win Game Room remains safe. All of the stolen cash was recovered, and the suspects were taken into custody shortly after the crime within an hour.
