Mother Charged with Murder After Dropping Baby During Fight

A disturbing incident occurred in Moultrie, Georgia, where a mother, Karen Harrison, was charged with multiple offenses.

These charges, including murder, were because of the tragic death of her three-month-old baby boy.

The incident, which was captured on surveillance footage, involved a physical altercation with another woman during which Harrison dropped her baby, resulting in fatal injuries.

What really happened?

It all began when Karen Harrison took her injured baby to a hospital in Moultrie.

She claimed that the injury occurred due to a fall from her friend's arms.

Carneata Clark, a friend of Harrison, initially supported this story, stating that she had dropped the baby while experiencing a seizure at Harrison's home.

This narrative was soon challenged by further investigation and video evidence.

Footage from a beauty supply store in Moultrie on July 19, 2019, revealed a heated argument between Harrison and Terra Shanquelle Brown in the parking lot of Thomas Beauty Supply.

As the confrontation escalated, Harrison, who was holding her baby, dropped the child during the physical altercation.

The infant suffered severe head injuries from hitting the pavement, which ultimately led to his death at Colquitt Regional Medical Center the following day.

Court records revealed that Harrison physically confronted Stevie Daniels, another parent of the child, who was likely the man seen in the video.

This confrontation could have sparked the fight.

However, the relationship between Stevie Daniels and the woman, Terra Shanquelle Brown, who was involved in the fight, is unclear.
