This true crime case has shocked the small town of Carrollton, Georgia, mainly because the teen posted emotional TikTok videos mourning her parents — even though she’s now accused of killing them.

Their 5-year-old daughter and Sarah Patrick were also inside the home when the killings happened.
Patrick, who called 911 to report the deaths — initially looked like a heartbroken daughter.
In the weeks after the murders, Patrick posted emotional videos on TikTok, sharing heartfelt tributes to her parents — all while allegedly hiding the truth about her role in their deaths.
In one video, she wrote, "They don’t know it but a year from now me and my 5-year-old sister would find them wrongfully shot dead in our home, and won’t get to watch me graduate high school, see me walk down the isle , and couldn’t even say goodbye.”
In another post, Patrick wrote that she felt “so home sick,” missed her parents “so much,” and said her life felt like a “horror movie that never ends.”
She captioned the video with, “Should prob delete later.”

In another bizarre twist, Patrick reportedly reached out to a true crime creator on TikTok, asking her to talk about the case.
According to New York Post, Patrick reportedly messaged the TikToker on June 3, 2025, writing: "Look up Brock case... Kristin and James Brock. They’re my parents, and out of nowhere, a random Thursday night in February, someone came in my house... and left my parents for me and my 5-year-old sister to wake up to."
The TikToker went on to cover the story, thinking she was helping a grieving teen — unaware that the 17-year-old would later be arrested for the murders.
Patrick also left some questionable comments under the TikTokers post on the case.
For example, when someone asked what weapon was used, she simply replied with a gun emoji.

Also, according to a family friend, Kellie Brown, Patrick told her that the only sound she heard that night was her stepfather’s heart monitor alarm going off.
She claimed she thought it was just a background noise and didn’t think much of it.
After a five-month investigation, authorities issued an arrest warrant for Patrick.
Her biological father drove her to the police station, where she turned herself in and was taken into custody.
Ashley Hulsey, a spokesperson for the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, confirmed that Patrick is being charged as an adult.
If convicted, Patrick faces life in prison without parole, as per New York Post.
As of July 11, 2025, the case is still under investigation. Patrick has been denied bail, and it's currently unclear whether she has a lawyer representing her.
