Stockton Kings Player, Chance Comanche and Girlfriend Nabbed for Kidnapping & Murder

The basketball world was rocked last week by the shocking arrest of Chance Comanche, a 27-year-old center for the Stockton Kings. The 6'10 player stands accused of participating in the kidnapping and murder of Marayna Rodgers, a young woman last seen after a Stockton Kings game in Las Vegas.

Rodgers had vanished on December 5th, leaving friends and family worried sick. Police soon discovered she was supposed to meet with Comanche and his girlfriend, 19-year-old Sakari Harnden. Both Comanche and Harnden were apprehended within days of Rodgers' disappearance, with Harnden booked in Las Vegas and Comanche taken into custody in Sacramento.

The investigation's grim turn came days later when Rodgers' remains were found in the Nevada desert near Henderson. Authorities believe both Comanche and Harnden played a role in her death and plan to charge them with murder.

Comanche, who tasted NBA action with the Portland Trailblazers last year, had been struggling in the G League with the Stockton Kings. He was released from the team following his arrest and now faces court appearances in both Sacramento and Nevada.

This shocking development has left the basketball community reeling and sent a wave of sympathy through Las Vegas. As the investigation unfolds, details of this devastating crime continue to emerge, leaving everyone searching for answers and justice for Marayna Rodgers.
